The Russian president has ordered the cessation of combat action against Ukraine for 30 hours in his meeting with the General Staff of Russia’s Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov.

“I order a ceasefire during this period. We expect the Ukrainian side to follow our example,” Vladimir Putin ordered.

He also emphasized the need for the Russian troops to maintain vigilance for any provocations or violations by the Ukrainian side.

Ukrainian Response to the Ceasefire

Ukrainian president has responded to the Russia’s Easter ceasefire saying that Ukraine will reflect Russia’s actions.
