Rules of Engagement - The State Signal

Building connections, driving conversations together

Rules of engagement as we define them. We encourage discussions in our platform on stories and topics covered and published, but as freedom of expression goes, we have a set of rules that anyone wishing to engage in our site must follow.

The Rules

We prohibit, and any comment containing any of the mentioned below will lead to deletion or the banning of the user from ever commenting on our site.

  • Personal attacks (in its diversity)
  • Incitements
  • Spam messages (we have the authority to define it as we deem necessary)
  • Complements (we seek no praises, so save your energy)
  • Website links
  • Obscene language/symbolism
  • Irrelevant comments not relating to the story under which the comment appears
  • Non-English comments
  • Suspicious users (reserved by us to define what “suspicious” is as we deem)

No Finality in Personal Discipline

We may delete a comment or block a user even if they have not violated any of the above without giving a reason.

Note that any opinion/information contained in the comments belong to the authors of the comments and doesn’t mean The State Signal or any of the individuals or group behind this site endorses it.

These rules aren’t final, and so are subject to change without prior notice.
