NEWSBREAK: KENYA – PCEA Mwiki had to stop their Sunday service after rowdy youths stormed the church. The service was attended by the former vice president Rigathi Gachagua.
The goons were throwing chairs as they forced their way inside the church, with several injuries from the fracas being reported.

No Police Presence at the Time
During the ordeal, there was no police presence or seen around the scene.
The only security present was that of Gachagua.
He’s expected to address the congregation.
The Bishop administering the service express disappointment in the disrespect of place of worship by the goons who seemed undeterred in their chaotic endeavor.
Gachagua’s guards were forced to fire gunshots to disperse the goons and disrupt their attempts.
Cars were stoned, sustaining window damages.
Continued Attacks on Rigathi Gachagua Events
Gachagua has been a big critic of Kenya’s president William Ruto, which resulted to his impeachment as vice president, but even after this, he has never stopped from criticizing the government and exposing some of the “dirty dealings” done behind closed doors.
Through this, he’s set himself as a target to continuous attacks, with numerous occasions where youth storm his events and cause chaos.
Today’s occurrence is just one among many others since his ouster as Kenya’s vice president.
Gachagua’s Address after the Chaos
When addressing the public, Gachagua accused Ruto and Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja for the failed attempt of disrupting the church service.
“I didn’t mind having goons sent for me everywhere if that is his modus operandi, but sending goons inside the church, Mr. President, what happened to you?” Gachagua lamented.
He also criticized the Kenya Police Service saying that they were ordered not to respond to the attacks.
He argued that the Deputy Inspector General had ordered the police not to intervene, but added that only plain-clothed police volunteered.
He warned William Ruto that attempts to “eliminate him” will only complicate his (Ruto) politics.
