4 Indian Rafale Jets Patrolling Kashmir Retreats after Pakistan Scrambles Jets

Indian jets which were patrolling Kashmir were forced to retreat on Wednesday after Pakistan Air Force scrambled its jets, which now adds more tension between the two neighbors.

The Indian jets were patrolling Kashmir from within Indian borders.

The state media stated that “as a result of PAF’s (Pakistan Air Force) diligent action, the Indian Rafale jets panicked and were forced to flee.”

Pakistan security sources added that armed forces are “fully prepared and vigilant to give a befitting response to any aggression from India.”

India Preparing a Military Action Against Pakistan

Pakistan’s Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has said that Pakistan has credible intelligence indicating that India is preparing to carry out a military action against Pakistan within the next 24 to 36 hours.

He said that “the anticipated aggression is reportedly being planned on the pretext of baseless and fabricated allegations regarding Pakistan’s involvement in the recent Pahalgam incident.”

He criticized India for its “self-assumed role as judge, jury, and executioner in the region,” calling it reckless and unacceptable.

He stated that Pakistan, acting as a responsible state, had offered an open and impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident through a neutral commission of experts. However, India, instead of responding constructively, appears to have chosen a confrontational and irrational path that threatens the stability of the entire region.

The minister emphasized that India’s refusal to accept independent investigation is a telling indication of its real motives.

Modi Holds Security Meeting Amid Growing Tensions Between India and Pakistan

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a Cabinet Security Committee meeting amid rising tensions with neighboring Pakistan.

This is the second such meeting since the April 22 attack by unidentified gunmen who killed 26 people at a tourist resort in Indian-administered Kashmir.

Following the top security huddle, Modi is expected to convene the Cabinet’s political and economic committees as well as a full Cabinet meeting later in the day, state-run Doordarshan TV News reported.

A day earlier, he chaired a high-level meeting attended by many officials, including Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and three military service chiefs.
