HUNGARYHungarian parliament vote on withdrawal from ICC has been approved today, April 29. Now Hungary will notify UN in accordance to international law, which can take effect within a year.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto reported this, stating that “the Hungarian Parliament just voted to withdraw from the ICC. With this decision, we refuse to be part of a politicized institution that has lost its impartiality and credibility.”

Hungary announced its intent to withdraw from the ICC earlier in April when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the country after criticizing it for becoming a “political body.”
