Since the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip the death toll has risen drastically and keep rising every day. The current death toll in Gaza is above 50,399 with over 15,000 of these being children and the overall being women and children.
Gaza Death Toll in Numbers
We’ll try to break down the Gaza death toll based in various categories/groups with the latest figures as of April 1, 2025.
Children
From UNICEF, over 15,000 Gaza children have been killed. Over 322 of these having killed after the break of the ceasefire from March 18.
Medical Staff
The Gaza war has seen over 400 aid workers targeted by Israeli forces with the Amnesty International records showing 408 aid workers killed. Of these, 280 are UNRWA staff and 34 PRCS staff.
Since March 18
Since Israel broke the ceasefire, the civilians killed are at least 2,542 and keeps rising by day.
Journalists
Israel has been accused of intentionally targeting journalists covering the Gaza war with over 170 being killed. This number continues to rise.
The Injured
The number of the injured is at least 114,400 which is rising daily due to the resumption of ground operation.
Overall Deaths
Overall, the majority of the dead in the Gaza Strip are women and children despite Israeli’s claim of only targeting “terrorists.”
